It's not a metaphor, it's fact. I need my daily dose of coffee like a individual requires oxygen. Seriously, the thought of starting my day without it gives me unease. Black doesn't concern much, as long as that bold flavor touches my mouth. It's not just a drink, it's energy for my mind. I am a being of custom, and that habit is my morning ritual.
